Co-sponsored by the Cortical Foundation and the MAK Center, this U.S. premiere video screening and sound installation of famed Viennese actionist artist, Hermann Nitsch’s masterwork, Six-Day-Play, was originally presented by his Orgies Mysteries Theatre on the castle grounds at Prinzendorf, in 1998. Views of the six days were seen on six large monitors and projection screens. Following the presentation the artist discussed the project with Los Angeles artists Paul McCarthy and Barbara Smith.
