The MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House was pleased to announce its Third Annual MAK Games, a benefit tournament that combined tennis, architecture, art, cocktails, barbecue, and a fabulous party, held at the spectacular Sheats/Goldstein Residence designed by John Lautner.
Players from the worlds of art, architecture, and entertainment competed on various courts in Los Angeles for the opportunity to play the final match on the infinity court designed by Duncan Nicholson. Congratulations to Friedrich Kunath and Alejandro Escos, winners of the 2015 MAK Cup.
Attendees included Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine and former Rodger Federer doubles partner Christian Straka and tennis pro Sam Querrey.
The MAK Center premiered its Artist T-shirt Series with a limited edition by Kori Newkirk.
DJs included Baohaus, Ioanna Gika (from Io Echo), and Myles Hendrik
Guided tours of the Lautner-designed residence were conducted throughout the event.
Equinox Fitness kicked off the dance floor with GROOV3 by Benjamin Allen.
