The second annual MAK Games, a tennis tournament that benefits the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, was held at the Sheats/Goldstein house. Guests enjoyed cocktails, bar-b-que, music, and tours of the house while cheering on their favorite team.
Tournament players were a diverse array of artists, architects, writers, musicians, actors, directors, curators, and other cultural figures—all of whom nourished a serious passion for tennis and a fierce desire to win the MAK Cup. Pre-tournament games were held in September and October; semi-finals and finals took place on October 12.
