  • Schindler House 835 North Kings Road West Hollywood, CA, 90069 (map)

Katie Grinnan opened the three-part exhibition series Locus Remix. Three Contemporary Positions with her show Polaris, taking as her main subject Kukulkan’s pyramid in the sacred Mayan city of Chichén-Itzá in the Yucatan in Mexico. Utilizing both the indoor spaces of the Schindler House and its gardens, Grinnan presented new work that grew out of themes she had long been exploring.

The series was curated by MAK Center Director Kimberli Meyer.
