heaven’s gift — Contemporary Art Tower, A New Programmatic Strategy for the Presentation of Contemporary Art, by design partners Peter Noever, Sepp Müller, and Michael Embacher, addressed new curatorial strategies by proposing to transform an enormous World War II anti-aircraft tower into an international center for contemporary art. Presenting an architectural model, design sketches, and realization plans, the exhibition detailed the proposed building renovation and interventions by artists Jenny Holzer and James Turrell. The show was presented at the Gateway Warehouse in the Hayden Tract in Culver City.
