The five newly rebuilt and enhanced garage units at the Mackey Apartments were the setting for this exhibition of site-responsive interventions that brought together well-known artists and architects from Vienna and Los Angeles: Raymond Pettibon, Franz Graf, Hernán Diáz Alonso, Elke Krystufek, and the next ENTERprise. A video program in the Garage Top accompanied the lower level installations, and featured works by Judy Fiskin, Kurt Kren, Claudia Kugler, Sonia Leimer, Jill Miller, Tina Schulz, and Nadim Vardag, specially selected for the occasion by artists John Baldessari, Heinrich Dunst, and Peter Kogler. The exhibition was curated by Peter Noever.
