Urban Future Manifestos called upon leading creative thinkers to address urgent questions about the future of the contemporary city. Contributing architects, artist designers, and urban scholars from around the globe considered the city from a variety of positions and posited their unique and inspiring visions.

Urban Future Manifestos was produced by the MAK Urban Future Initiative (UFI), that ran from 2008-10 at the Fitzpatrick-Leland House and was dedicated to creating meaningful cross-cultural exchange about the challenges confronting cities worldwide.
