The MAK Center Neighbor Day at the Mackey Apartments offered the public an opportunity to tour the Mackey Apartments (R.M. Schindler, 1939) and view the work of the MAK Center Artists and Architects-in-Residence based there. The afternoon also included tours of Gregory Ain’s nearby Dunsmuir Flats (1937). Architects Space International gave tours of the renovated building and answered questions about the just underway garage renovation. Visitors were invited to attend a lecture by Judith Sheine, focusing on Schindler’s ideas and intentions for the Mackey Apartments.
