Frederick J. Kiesler is often cited as this century’s most significant non-building architect. His exploration of “endlessness” and designs for the space-time continuum have inspired today’s experimental architects. Frederick J. Kiesler Endless Space highlighted the Endless House (1959), a project developed over a 30-year period that offers a rich synthesis of the architect’s theories. Organized by the MAK Center in collaboration with the Frederick and Lillian Kiesler Foundation, the exhibition debuted at the Schindler House and featured a new critical publication on the architect.
Chairman of the Frederick and Lillian Kiesler Foundation Dieter Bogner examined Kiesler’s architecture in relation to his concepts of endlessness and architecture as “biotechnique.”
