Centennial Council
The Centennial Council is the MAK Center’s philanthropic leadership group that develops and contributes resources vital to the MAK Center’s programming and mission. The council is composed of committed members who are dedicated to advancing the MAK Center’s work through leadership, strategy, and engagement.
Initiated upon the 100 year anniversary of the Schindler House (2022), the Centennial Council’s mission is to support MAK Center’s stewardship and activation of the three significant architectural sites by R.M. Schindler. The council is composed of dedicated individuals who champion artistic excellence and provocation by providing direct support to the MAK Center’s annual programing. They are engaged with the cultural centers of Los Angeles, readily share resources that empower and support the MAK Center, and seek to build long term initiatives and collaborative planning efforts that lays the foundations for the organization’s next hundred years.
Council members contribute annual dues at a level that is meaningful to them and that prioritizes MAK Center in their giving. Average Council dues are $2,500. Appointment to the Centennial Council is by invitation of the MAK Center director and the MAK Center Board of Directors.
